UK visual effects company, Framestore CFC has announced the opening of a dedicated feature animation unit called FrameStore Feature Animation. It will be led by David Lipman, an 8 year veteran from DreamWorks Animation, he was producer on Shrek 2 and co-exec producer on Shrek.
Framestore Feature Animation has made a partnership with Universal Studios to begin work on their first projects called The Tale of Despereaux. The movie will be directed by Sylvain Chomet, director of Les Triplettes de Belleville. FFA is expected to hire up to 200 new employees in the near future.

para quem não lê inglês; o texto diz que a framestore uniu-se á Universal Studios para trabalharem no seu primeiro filme 3d de animação "the tale of despereaux". E abriram para esse efeito um departamento dedicado com o David Lipman como "boss".....
